In 2007 the Foundation made grants of £581,000.
In 2008 the Foundation made grants totaling £459,792 to voluntary groups in the county.
The Foundation was successful in its bid to the Office of the Third Sector, to be the Local Funder for the Grassroots Grants programme. £313,704 Grassroots grants have been awarded in the first twelve months of this programme.
The Foundation always receives far more requests than it can fulfill.l.
