The Need
No matter where you live or work there will be people close by who suffer disadvantage. It may be through age, poverty, ethnic origin or disability with people often living impossibly difficult lives.
The Problem
- Many perceive the county as affluent.
- The image of wealthy market towns and rolling Cotswold countryside prevails.
- Employment is high; opportunities are good.
- This image helps tourism and the economy.
- Hinders fund raising for local charities.
- Many people are oblivious to the needs of the disadvantaged.
